How will the Deloitte layoffs impact MBA class of 2016 that is starting in a few months? Their class is huge, are they screwed?

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

For those in tech and big cities, would you mind sharing what an M3 (no MBA but masters) should be making? Interested in base salary and bonus to see if my trajectory is on the low end. 9yrs exp.

What do you think would look better for M7 MBA apps? Currently 1.5 years at EY TAS. Ultimately want MBB or FAANG BizOps:

I work as a consultant for a small HR consulting service in Ontario, Canada. Our owner/president wants us to hit a revenue target of $1m this year. The closest we’ve come is $800k in 2019. We also noticed that in 2019 we hit our highest revenue but did the fewest overall client work for that year. In 2020 and 2021 we did more client work but fell short of $800k revenue. Our avg rev per client is $2500, with a lot of single projects @ $500. Does it makes sense to increase our prices?
