Am I making enough profit for my firm?

I became a 2 year lawyer in September. I started working at my firm, a mid-sized firm practicing commercial business litigation and PI, in March of 2020. Last year I made the firm $180k from my billable hours and I was paid $85k + full health and other benefits.

This year, I'm on track to make about $150k and to make the firm about $450k from my billable hours and PI cases that I originated and settled.

I am bit confused if refinance is a good idea if my purpose is to lower down my down payment because it basically reset the payment clock to 0. I calculated that for my mortgage, with the new refinance rate, even calculating the inflation rate. All in all I am paying 50k more in today’s money. I get 250 dollars less each month. Rate fall from 3.3 to 2.3. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea?

I may lose a job opportunity because of my credit history - what can I do?

Started in *May* - Prior to signing everything, I expressed concern to the recruiter about the credit check. Honestly, it’s not great but it’s not terrible. The recruiter told me many times to not sweat it because it the background check was the main thing. And that we could talk through anything on the credit report. Now HR is telling me they may rescind the offer pending review. I’m crushed. What can I do?

How do you go about not underselling yourself on a resume/interview while also not exaggerating your accomplishments? I have a lot of team/group experience but I think it would be an exaggeration to just say for example “formulated Omni-channel marketing plan targeting gen x consumer in consideration of a buy now pay later plan”.
