Any place where you work 1+ weekend(s) a month and over 11hrs a day in my opinion. In NYC I’d say 50% qualify as this, and the other 50% don’t. Johannes Leonardo is probably the most infamous.

I wouldn’t define any ad agency as a sweatshop. It’s trivializing. I mean, we live pretty privileged lives.

Nope. I have 3 kids. The men I know that do that can only do it because they have wives at home to handle everything. I am the wife. I work many evenings til the early a.m. — after my youngest goes to bed — if whatever creative I’m working on needs more pushing.

My agency is not a sweatshop. Mix of go getters and lifers doing bare minimum. Creatives take on what they’re willing to carry. Some burn themselves out. Others coast and use the WFH model to slack off.

Synechrone 24 Still there are companies like Infosys, L&T infotech and LTTS in which hr round has been completed but not sure when they will release offer. My LWD is 19 june. Among these companies which is better in terms of good learning also considering@ work Life Balance.

Hi everyone, interview for entry level Allstate claims position. Should I take it being 3 business days since my final interview and no offer. The interviewer said to give it a week and that she was gna give my info to hiring manager to review, but I thought she was the hiring manager since this was the 2 interview outside internal recruiter interview. i sent a thank you email the day after. Individual Contributor or Manager of 4? I have about 6 yrs of exp and have managing a team of 4 for about a year. Recently in a performance review my manager commented that I was always a top tier bucket as an individual but as a manager, I was slightly worse off performance wise. I’ve been looking at another opp which is about 20% more comp but is an individual contributor. Is being a manager all it’s cracked up to be? Should I even consider since I’m early in my career?
