Thought I was going to get an offer for an internship but I was told they went with a candidate that had more experience :/ Now I’m freaking out because it seems like a lot of agencies already have their interns for the summer. Are there any agencies that still have their applications open?

Two weeks into a 2 months projects and the client has pushed me out of the project because of "budget constraints". I do not have a problem with it except that my instincts are telling me there were racial motivations with the move. Has anyone here experienced this type of thing and how do you deal with it 'cause it's getting my head?

Offering job to an intern

I just started working at a Digital Strategy Consulting Boutique firm but the company is in Europe and we work in another language entirely. I started off as an intern (8 months) and now I am working full time. I am trying to learn the language to be more interactive with the clients and in the meetings but it's super difficult. Should I switch or learn the language and stay here for another year? It's a small firm and the pay is not that great but good for beginners in the country. Any advice?

Not necessarily investment advice, but I am applying for an EIN for my LLC. Single member LLC, plan on doing social media and possibly some consulting work depending on the client. My question is should I file a Form 2553 to have my LLC have an S corp status? I would like to use the revenue to pay my rent or for other discretionary income outside of my 9-5 (less than 2k/mnth). So does it make sense to do a form 2553 so I can pay myself as the sole prop, deducted that payroll from taxes?
Does anyone know how to do value mapping or use case identification and associated value drivers? I’m in my final 2 weeks of my internship and was asked to take this on. I’d like to finish strong but feel I may be in over my head.

Has anyone come back from being put on a PiP? My colleague just got one and is freaking out - her manager is overallocated like crazy, the other two media planners were laid off, and she’s the only one left standing. Her boss says she’s making too many mistakes - but they’re so short staffed. Any hope, or should she start looking now?

Consider a new pandemic, at what % fatality rate do you think vaccines will mandated by law for all citizens? This is not the last pandemic society will face. COVID has a low death rate compared to Ebola for example. What % fatality rate would it take for governments around the world including the US to legally require mandatory vaccinations of all citizens? Would it be 10%? 20? 50%? fatality rate? Or will we never mandate vaccines in lieu of personal freedom?
Does anyone have any thoughts about a company terminating an employee within the HR team for testing positive for COVID 19 and further accusing the said employee of being the one that created the entire team to become infected by not answering the health screening questions accurately? The week prior to employee being tested the entire team was in the office sick. The company in question weeks prior wrote the employee up referencing sexual innuendo due to an accusation of a preferred name.
