Step 1 - Cleanse you resume and online profile of any references to "Risk"
Talk to your marketing friends and make sure you fully understand what you do. Most marketing work is fairly analytical, and assuming your risk background has given you strength in that area, I think that’s your best angle
I’d focus on learning skills that are applicable to the industry and highlighting it on your resume. Also do what D1 said. I’ve seen people go from “risk” roles into really cool things. Just gotta know how to frame your story. Fake it till you make it even if you have no experience
Similar situation. I’m just worried about interviews, tailoring resume is easy but what do you do in interviews when you have to give specific examples
