Just be honest - I have personally found that honesty goes a long way and they should be understanding once someone is aware of what you’re experiencing. If not, red flag 🚩

The first thing that came to mind was that they liked you, but you weren't right for the position, so they brought others in to see if you're a fit with them. Then I thought maybe they're just trying to get free consulting out of you, but frankly they sound terribly unorganized and their word can't be trusted...if that's how they operate, it's going to be Hell working there.

Say i want to respectfully withdraw my candidature at this time. Plus the job site will have an option to withdraw. I recently withdrew my candidature from a company that had initially told me that they will have 3 rounds. And in the last one they said.. oh there will be a written exercise and another 4-5 more interviews. I told the interviewer that i want to respectfully withdraw. I was pissed at the misinformation and the time it would take fir all the remaining rounds.

I spoke to the recruiter when I opted out of the interview process knowing the job wasn’t a fit just say hey I have other opportunities I’m looking into and this isn’t a fit or if you want the job just say I’m interviewing for other organizations and I want to work here but between those and my current employment I’m having a hard time getting to these interviews Is there any way to consolidate my final ones together or anything I can provide additionally to reach a conclusion on your selection?

I like the company but I’m in the process of interviewing with four others. Don’t want to burn any bridges but over blocking off “free time” for this company for what seems like pointless interviews?

I was unaware we could tell them this

I was interviewing for McKinsey in the defense and security industry (clearance needed) and thought I did absolutely great on the first business case. The second, however, was with a principal that had very different political views from my own (I’d done some research on her LinkedIn). The business case felt different from any others that I had studied and felt like an attempt to get political without directly doing so. I was quickly rejected following the 2nd interview. Should I try reapplying?
