What sort of harassment? Sometimes people will label something "harassment" which is really more of a misunderstanding or clash of personalities.

I’m not doing anything I’m come on time for work and leave the time I’m supposed to leave. They are trying to get brownie points with the supervisor. It’s the obvious. They got hired to do a job just like me and is not even concerned about doing the job. Except for to report anything I do and even others do. It’s harassment, I can’t not do the job I was hired to do, because of this individual.

Gather the needed evidence. I will also go and ask my other co-workers if something similar happened to them. If the management still doesn't address it, contact EEOC.

Yes, my other coworkers expressed she has harassed them as well and tried to create trouble for them as well.

Can you provide more context around how this employee is harassing you? Maybe provide specific examples? It's hard to offer detailed advice (other than "document everything") without understanding more about the situation.

agonizing me, saying things to get me upset. We had to work in a group with some other coworkers and she kept cutting me off about anything I tried to discuss in the group. Talking about me to other coworkers trying to get them to dislike me. Reporting back to my supervisor lying saying I’m saying u kind things to her and haven’t interacted with her directly to say anything. She’s not there to do her job, she is there to create trouble. She doesn’t even care to learn her job and finds excuses to not do the job she was hired to do.

Tell management you'll proceed with legal actions if they don't make time for it. Document everything. So sorry this is happening to you.

Hi yeah she told me today she didn’t want to hear it and it feels like she listens to everything the coworker is telling her. My manager was like well she talked with my coworker and it she stated there is a misunderstanding and what’s to talk with me about it. My manager than says she wants me to talk with the coworker who has been harassing me. I told my manager no and I don’t have to talk with her because here to do my job not talk negativity with someone. I felt my manager is playing favoritism and doesn’t care to correct the issue but rather than keep the negativity going. I’m just going to have to document and seek legal help.

First document the harassment and then report it to HR or if you have a whistleblower/ethics hotline you can report it anonymously there as well

Yes I have been documenting everything

How are they harassing you? Are you documenting it everything including the incidents and that you went to your manager with no response from them?

Ok, yeah I did try to tell my manager. But they told me today they don’t want to hear it or be involved. I’m still documenting everything and I’m trying to seek help from elsewhere.

Spent an entire day in-person for year end GTM all hands. Flew in for an agendaless day of Q&A with a partner who effectively ghosted an entire room of people. 🤦🏻‍♂️

One shining light - we had a Director who stepped up and spoke his mind with candor and authenticity - the real leaders in GTM are DIRs!

I am collecting my own thoughts and formalizing how to give my constructive feedback.

Would love to hear from others from GTM who attended this in-person that could have literally been an email 💌

When would you say that things really started to “click” for you and you felt like you knew what you were doing? Not necessarily when you could run a deal, but where you really began to understand the basics of getting a deal from start to finish and generally could draft ancillary documents with little to no revision needed? Also, when did you feel more in control of your work flow and have a solid grasp of how long tasks would take you?

Weekend Shift Differential- I’m trying to get market data on shift differential pay for weekend work in the IT department. I wasn’t able to find any recent articles for the private sector. Our comp data vendor won’t have pay practices on this until next March. I’m curious on what companies are paying for the differential and the methodology in determining the rate or % of salary.

Hi. I’m seeking a tech recruiter role. I have 6aolid years experience as a recruiter and I have also managed team of recruiters.

Does anyone need a hr coordinator, or entry level talent acquisitions coordinator that is 100 remote? Remote jobs are extremely competitive and when I find job posts on LinkedIn there are already over 100 applicants. Very competitive!I am open minded about salary,I have so much interest in expanding my skills. I have about a year of recruiting in the staffing industry and 6 months as an hr assistant for a corporate/manufacturing company. MA in Hr and will be testing for phr in July. Thank you

Curious what other companies have communicated in the way of return to office dates/timeline and what part of the country you’re in?

Hello HR folks. Overheard a conversation at work and am curious what is the norm.
If an employee goes out on FMLA, obviously the benefits person sends them the STD, FMLA paperwork etc. But is it the maagers responsibility to maintain communication with the person out on leave and to get a timeline on their return or would that be the benefits team? Or maybe the HRBP?

For those of you who are certified (SHRM or PHR), what was your biggest takeaway from getting your certification? How has this helped you today in your HR career?

I have been working in HR for 1 year now, specifically in recruiting. I am currently an in-house recruiter for a company. There is a large turnover for the position I hire for, the candidates are low quality as the position I hire for does not call for many specific skills or hard-to-obtain skills.
What sort of requirements typically need to be met to move into a different part of HR? I will likely have to find another company as the only positions above me in my company are taken by people who are very unlikely to leave in the coming 4-5 years.

I walked into work yesterday and noticed that all of the food was left on the table from Friday morning tea (I wasn’t at work) it’s so annoying to be expected that I will be the one that will clean up the office after every office event. I was pissed

I am a female recruiter with 7 years of recruiting experience. I started with a new company and it was a raise for me. However I’ve noticed new recruiters joining the team, who are male, are coming on with a higher pay and lower classification/level than I. Any advice on how to confront the inequity professionally by still getting my point across thoroughly and directly?

Really want to get out of my current role but finding it so hard to find any other Recruiter openings out there. I have worked at Deloitte and am now with Accenture. Campus or EH. Remote or in the PHX or SEA area. Any leads are appreciated. TIA!

After 5 interviews and becoming one of the two finalists. The company decides to offer the job to the other candidate but never let me know. I was waiting for weeks and then decided to ask about my status. I got the "oh we decided to offer the job to someone else" response. I wrote back and said how disappointed I was that no one let me know until I asked.

Question: Did I burn that bridge? How do you think they handled communication and is that even a company I should want to work with?

We are considering rolling out monthly benefit communications. I’m looking for software suggestions that supports this. Does anyone have any suggestions? For example, May is mental health awareness month, so we can highlight EAP features, other resources, etc but want to leverage engaging software.

I’ve had final interviews with Amazon, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, and Bloomberg in the past two months. All of which ended in a rejection. I respect their decisions, but after putting time into preparing for the interviews and then going through them, receiving these rejections took a toll on me. I’ve asked them all for their feedback and they all had similar responses: Decisions were close among the teams. Ultimately, I didn’t have experience with ATS. I wish I could show them my will to learn.
