Hopefully it wasn't intentional. That said, I'd have a sit down to discuss and make them aware/educate them, and formally put them on notice. You must have a protocol in your handbook, no?

So I’m asking this question because I’m not confident in the way that my HR department is handling this and I don’t feel supported. There is no specific language or policies that I can find listed out in the handbook regarding this type of offense. This is not something I’ve experienced before so I have no idea what to expect from HR or how they could solve this issue

Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. About 4 years ago a big R&D group at a F500 biotech hired two interns, myself (M) and a girl from another school. At the very end of the internship I learned I was paid ~30% more than her….I still feel really awkward about this. What type of HR team let’s this slide?!

Been for a company for over 2years. The executive team is very much a boy's club. There are a few women in management roles but zero ethnicity diversity there. I raised my concern to HR in feb. And they are just now deciding to do something about it. They want me (white female) to put together a diversity committee. Any suggestions on how to go about it? Is it legal to have old applications for applicants/new hires to put in their employee files? The way our ATS works is that a candidate fills out the employment app once and applies to numerous positions in the future. They are able to update but The problem is not all applicants update their application all the time so we end up with applications from 2019-2021 because we don’t have time to chase every person to update their application, but we do have any updated resume on file.
