How would you make the business case for adding more diversity to the workforce. I think we take it as a given that people will support this, but some people need to see $$ and #s to be moved.

Business case = Make it evident that such a move will contribute to the team’s budget. “Feel good” points are transitory and artificial

There is a good amount of research that shows that diverse teams make better decisions (Harvard Business Review, July-Aug 2018). In the investment world, better decisions mean better performance.

Best consulting firms for real inclusion?

After the whole diversity and inclusion push from my firm, I decided to try to create a Jewish group especially given all the anti semitism in the world. I sent an email to HR in beginning of august. It’s now almost September and no response (this includes multiple follow ups). They say it usually take 1-2 days to respond to emails. Hypocrisy?

Can anyone help me evaluate whether I should take an exit opportunity. Currently in big 4 (fsrm) and have the opportunity to join a f250 payments firms internal strategy division. They report directly to the c-suite and said they mainly focus on strategy or M&A and don’t do implementation. The team seems really nice but I’m just worried about leaving consulting and leaving the accelerated progression. Would love some insights as I’m fairly lost on what to decide. Thanks!
