Sloan, Booth, Kellog, CBS next question
Kellogg, Sloan/Booth..
Those are all back ups for Fuqua
Rising Star
Which is almost as good as McCombs
Honestly they are all great schools. If you want to go into consulting and aim for MBB, there is no meaningful difference between them. If you want to go into finance, booth and CBS have the edge.
Many BAs at my firm think HYS defines your success and M7 are “good enough.” I did not want to be sponsored so I chose a non M7 school (still top 10) on a full ride and loved my experience. I ended up coming back to McK after a failed start up gig but I would say go where you get in and your a happy.
For consulting- the difference is minimal.
Rising Star
Booth, Sloan, cbs, Kellogg
Kellogg, Booth, Sloan, CBS
Booth is #1 YOY amongst the other B-schools listed.
All excellent schools that recruit well.
Tbh these firm and school rankings are becoming kind of tiresome. Its far more important to distinguish yourself from all the other smart, motivated people with good schooling & work experience.
For example, what technical skills set you apart, people management experience etc..
All of these have similar recruiting opportunities. Main difference is experience: Kellogg is heavily student community driven (KWEST, 1000 person ski trip etc.) Booth has much more city/mature feel. So on and so forth. If you’re good enough to compete for slots at these schools, focus on what you want for your experience and who gives you money.
I don’t need to as this is done for me by Forbes & USNews
Depends what you’re seeking. If your goal is to get into a C-Suite position later or go into consulting, Kellogg, Booth, Sloan, CBS. If it’s to get into Product management... Sloan, Kellogg, CBS, Booth. If it’s to get into Finance... Booth, CBS, Kellogg, Sloan.
Haha leadership and entrepreneurship are at the heart of every business school 😅
Not saying kellogg doesn't produce ceos, kellogg is elite but idk any of these schools produce more Ceos than the other.
Hbs and Stanford are in another league than these schools
