How would you rate your company's culture since quarantine started? The same, better, or worse? I think our was pretty good to begin with, and it's only gotten better for me personally.

I miss the vibrant campus culture we used to have, but there's a lot more empathy around the company as everyone understands the difficulties that their coworkers are going through.

Same, actually. I think everyone has made an extra effort to stay in touch and be flexible. I loved my company before this, but am really loyal now.

It’s actually slightly better than it was before. We were a partially remote workforce before with some groups dispersed in other parts of the country. As a result, it was not always equitable in terms of communication and collaboration. Inadvertently people were left out of conversations, impromptu meetings after meetings or watercooler discussions caused disengagement with remote colleagues. Now that everyone is remote, that has completely shifted. Many of us who thought we were being very inclusive realized how unconscious it was to have these types of discussions. As a result, we are in a way better position when we do finally get back to the office of being more intentional with our collaboration efforts.

Personally I have had a rough start with the company culture. I joined during the pandemic and understanding the way of working / culture hasn't been easy.

We had a good culture to start with, and it’s only got better since. In fact I’m spending more “face” time with people now than before (via catch-ups, beer o clocks, coffee mornings)

SAP has always been exceptional and it has only gone up since Covid. I’m not leaving because it’s an amazing company.

The company is noticeably trying to get better but unfortunately impacted negatively, could be biased for those in certain roles or WFH positions. Some changes look positive but the load of those changes are currently stressful, especially with smaller teams across the board.

I started right as the lockdowns happened so don’t have a ton of pre-pandemic reference but the adjustments to help with sanity have been great! So happy to be here instead of my last company that is still forcing people into the office even though it’s entirely possible to be 100% remote with what they do.
