If you’re coming from NYC it’s not going to meet your expectations at all in any respect. I say this as someone who grew up in Boston and then moved to NYC.
Which city are you coming from? Definitely a smaller Asian population than say NYC/SF - New England is this way in general
I see. Personally think Boston is a far cry from NYC - most Asians there either grew up in MA (or New England for that matter) or are there for education/research. Boston in general is a smaller and more homogeneous city
I think there’s a pretty decent sized Asian population especially since Boston is home to a lot of top schools. (For ref I’m from nyc and live in Boston)

I actually have a different opinion. If you are just talking about dating then NYC wins hands down. But for settling down, Boston may actually be a better city. I have very few friends end up settling down with people they met in NYC. The whole vibe in NYC is honestly not that great for a long term relationship imo.
