Katy Hornaday is solid.
He was drafted by the Giants, not the Chiefs...
Agreed. Current ECD is awesome. We’re currently growing a lot. Pitching a lot of new biz. Seeing a lot of great campaigns come out of the creative department. Really talented people here. Obviously there are negatives. Definitely some growing pains as the company tries to expand but they’re putting in a good effort
Great for creatives. ECD is amazing.
Reading all of this kind of makes me want to move back. If Katy was the ECD at the time I probably wouldn’t have left.
Used to work there. Fun place. The current ECD is awesome.
It’s definitely not perfect but I’m surrounded by legitimately incredible people who I respect creatively and love personally. Hiring a ton of people right now due to departures but also new biz wins.
Just applied for an ACD Copy position (because I’m that desperate to get out of my current shitty agency. Here’s hoping.
@GCD1 I’d say it’s part of the current growing pains. Barkley recently consolidated its departments into the larger Barkley brand whereas before, departments like design and digital were separate because they were companies Barkley had acquired. But also I know a lot of the people leaving are because they moved on to bigger cities and industries, which just happens
I'm a fan of the creative leadership, have heard good things about the balance & pay
