Company growth will be huge. Compensation is just as good or better than alternatives. Career is fast or slow depending on who you ask, but I think it’s clear how to get the positions you want. Culture: I’m working with the smartest folks I’ve worked with. There’s quite a bit of growth lately combined with remote work which has caused a decrease in connectedness. The company is transparent as far as I can tell. Some folks are over worked, but this is becoming less frequent the more we scale. Customers enjoy meeting with us and respect what we have to say, even if it is nearly impossible to keep up with all the tech. Speaking of which — tons of learning opportunities across tech domains (data engineering, machine learning, BI, Cloud, and automation), industries, and company strategy (users, use cases, initiatives, org structure). Finally, the valuation just keeps going up.
Great feedback! What’s the WLB like overall at DB?

I just think of “dumber than a sack of bricks”. But know nothing of this company.
Databricks is on a great trajectory, and it's Lakehouse platform is the best in its field. (Sorry snowflake). Great place to be especially if you are passionate about Apache Spark
My two cents here. I was thinking about going to this place or snowflake. Concerned that a-lot of the other hyperscalers will just create some of these solutions in house. Whatever happened to cloudera?

MapR or Hortonworks….
