Fiserv used to be a good company but after merger with FD things have changed , with tracking software on , micro management , staying online over productivity guess lot of people have left for the same

Even i am on the same situation, the tracking software sapience is not new to us. We are already having it in for years. Other than that is fiserv a good organization? Is there a job security? What about the work pressure?

Gratitude time! I'll go first... I feel wealthy and blessed when I can go in my cupboards and pull out the 8 ingredients I need to make my preferred fancy salad or yogurt for lunch. It's a small thing that demonstrates so many bigger blessings.

Currently at a top consulting firm making 87k with no bonus. I have an offer with a smaller firm for about $130k (base + bonus). Issue is I’m 7.5 months into my career and not sure if it would be a bad look to leave so quick. What should I do?

Currently an L4 in a non-tech role at Google with TC: ~220K . Projected to make the jump to L5 soon. Recently received an offer for a Senior Manager role at B4, with a TC: ~200K ToE: ~4 years Thoughts on the offer? Does it make sense to make the jump to B4 for a better title/ more senior role?

Anyone else skeptic about the meta verse? I kind of don’t see the draw or application of it. Part of me feels like it won’t be as revolutionary as everyone says it will. I personally like human interactions lol

How do people go into consulting out of college and NOT ever break 250k? It seems inevitable if you stay or just get a half decent exit. Not sure why everyone here complains about how hard it is to save

PSA: Please don't continually joke in a meeting that your OCD makes you do something. Those of us who are actually diagnosed with OCD and suffer from it every day do not find your joking the least bit funny.

Best book you have read for pleasure in the last year?

Which is better? 300k salary or 3m net worth

Would you leave after 1 year to make a move to another almost identical firm and role for a 45k base boost? 125-170k.

Found this in a casebook today; how accurate do y’all think it is?

Deloitte vs. Accenture benefits? If base salary is around the same at both, which company would you choose and why?

Is there a “right” reason to want kids? There seem to be so many reasons not to. Why did 🐠 parents here decide to have them, and when was the right time in your career? (I’m a 30YO, F, manager)

I just got laid off. Actively on a project, level 10 S&C, chargability at 85% but almost 8 percent recoverable on top of that. Have to look for a job now. Anyone hiring? Thanks all! I’ve had a great time here!

So I’m currently in an industry job and have a new consulting gig lined up to start mid-March. I just received my bonus letter which will be paid out in full at the end of February. I know the general rule is “wait until the $ hits your account to give notice,” but if I do, I won’t be able to give a full two weeks before I have to leave. Is there really a risk in giving notice to my current company before the bonus money is officially in my account?

Struggling to decide if I should give low rating to this individual. Felt like my working style was orthogonal to his, which created friction throughout the project. Felt he thought he was doing
