Hey all!! I am looking for recommendations because I feel silly: I’m nearly done with my MHA and can’t help thinking my next move is to get my MSW. I honestly just want to be able to work remotely and make decent pay (don’t we all), but so much of my experience is entry level customer service type of stuff. Could healthcare consulting be something that would be reasonable for me to look at, or other recommendations? I don’t mind traveling for work right now, but I do want a family someday.

I want to start investing outside of my 401k and I don’t know where to start. When I try to research I feel overwhelmed by all the information/terms and the conflicting advice. Are there sources of info that you trust? Preferred types of investments/accounts? I currently have all my money sitting in a regular checking account.

Any remote healthcare admin opportunities available? I have about almost 4 years of healthcare experience, 2 being in a management position. I also have my MBA with a healthcare management concentration. I’m currently in a practice managerial role and have realized this isn’t for me. I am an introvert and work better independently vs dealing with everyday ordeals at work.

My colleague just told me that when she was promoted to AVP and negotiating her salary, HR cited her taking maternity leave as a point against her. This must be illegal right?

Wild that conservatives think they're on the right side of history after supporting officials who let tens of thousands die needlessly and will now try to take away people's healthcare.

I consider myself a gen xer. I feel that in the past, longevity and loyalty to a company was the trend. Now, i see ppl with resumes and they stay for less than a year in a job and change jobs constantly. The younger generation and are so eager to move up the ladder. I wonder if the move up is too fast and is really justified. Or perhaps the younger generation feels a lot more entitled and are more aggressive. Thoughts?
