Which company would you join?
I currently work in Sales with the intention of moving over to marketing in the near future. I received two offers for BDR/SDR roles from Sprout Social and Gong. Both salaries are around the same (Gong - base 63k + anticipated $25k in commission, Sprout - 55k base + anticipated $25k in commission).
I like both companies’ software and it extremely hard to decide which position will get me into marketing faster as it is not a traditional BDR path to take.
Help!

I’m in our government practice (non-federal projects). Hours: typically 45-50 every few weeks spike higher. Projects: mostly org design, comms, and change management. People: all sorts of backgrounds, generally good
Commercial HC. Every project I’ve been on on has been org design or target operating model project
Every project I’ve been on has been an oversold, under resourced disaster, where we promise the world and then only staff 3 people to deliver it, and the PMD refuses to push back on any scope creep. IE, once we were supposed to assist facilitating OD workshops for a small sub function. Ending up doing full OD for the entire function (current state analysis, future state design, talent placement, the whole Shabang) without any extra resources. Was a nightmare.
Constantly working 70+ hour weeks, on top of bullshit ‘firm initiatives’ that D expects from everyone (another handful of hours per week).
