I'm making an internal transfer to FAAS service line (out of audit) and only got a $2K raise. I was under the impression that FAAS gets paid a fair amount better than audit? Was I mistaken? For context: I'm leaving audit as a "top rated" S1. I'm already compensated at the top of the pay-band (as told to me by the recruiting team who are helping to transition me). I also applied for PWC CMAAS, but was offered the same exact compensation as EY and was told there was no room to negotiate.

Current TC is $110k. Been offered a role by an acquaintance in industry for $120k. Doesn’t make sense for me to jump given this minor increase in comp + lack of interest in new line of work. I have been working in Talent Acquisition for going on 2 yrs. I was a recruiter then a talent acquisition coordinator. I really didn't like recruiting, felt like a sales person this was totally not my vibe. I'm loving working as a coordinator its definitely for me but I'm just not sure how to move to the next level or what that next level looks like. I am interested in learning/working in employee relations or as a generalist. Any advice on how to move up or what roles I should be looking for.

Pretty torn between CSR and Amex Gold cards. Ignoring annual fees, I’m torn between points earning potential. With most of my budget going towards discretionary spending (dining, groceries, drinks) the Gold has an appeal, yet CSR’s broader definition for travel might even out the point earning potential (ie covering full cost of one Airbnd for several friends would be a big point generator). Are there any other major factors I might not be considering? I’ve gone thru the TPG review FWIW.
