Hello, in need for some guidance/mentoring as I plan the next phase of my career. I have been in data analytics field (have a masters as well) for 7 years now and thinking of pivoting towards tech product management. Anyone here who has been on similar path? Tips for IBD Associate interviews for sector groups I have little experience in? I just finished a case study for a boutique restructuring consulting firm and it felt impossible. Is it me or it was designed to feel that way? Objective was 3 statement model, 2 years historical 3 years projected. Send in excel + ppt in 5 hours. I was given a 10k (which btw is NOTHING like the easy 3 statement models online). I saw accounts that I’ve never heard of. wtf do I do with forex, deferred income tax, amortization of deferred lease credits on the cash flows?? Background audit then FDD.
