WLB is good, the utilization across D&I is pretty low. We have unlimited PTO and people in my office actually use it. I took around 25 days last year. Within my office it seems like parents are well supported as our MDs are flexible and understanding.

Thank you for this! Coming out of Big 4, I’m really looking for a good wlb and flexibility.

Overall, pretty good for consulting

like

Good for tax. Even during busy season, we try to log off at a decent time on fridays and typically only work one day on the weekend. Big4 hires are surprised with the WLB A&M offers

I’d say avg of 55-60 during busy season

We do not have unlimited pto I’m not sure what this person is talking about.

?? It says in the employee handbook vacation isn’t limited for billable staff and I’ve never heard anything to the contrary.

Hi All,
I recently joined KPMG Global Services, Bangalore. In the Offer letter It was mentioned that I will be part of the TE-DL-DataPlatforms team. Any idea on how the team is and how the WLB and projects will be?

Do any of you stay with your current job bc of the flexibility you’ve earned over the years? I’ve been at the same company for ten years and am SO READY to make a change but I’m scared to give up the flexibility.

For example, my 3 and 1 year olds were home with me all week because daycare had to shut down. I did as much as I could, joined calls and met all deadlines but I also stepped away a lot during the day to pay attention to the kiddos. I’m scared if I go somewhere new this wouldnt be ok.

I'm interviewing for Sr Product Design positions & each interview is 30 minutes to share 2 case studies. With only 12 min/case study (I eat up some time introducing myself & setting up the work), does anyone have advice on what to make sure I show? It's so hard to hit all the points they I'm trying to hit: problem definition through user research, wireframes, design exploration, usability tests, prototypes, final designs, red lines, engineering handoff, KPIs. Any advice or examples?
