How’s the work life balance at BCW?

I'm located in the Pittsburgh office so my experience may be different from New York but I get in around 930 and I leave between 6 and 630 nearly every day. After hours emails are minimal unless you're working a pitch or are on deadline, and people are pretty supportive of you taking vacation time and being offline (unless there's a crisis of some sort)

it's pretty chill. depends on the account. most people gone by 7pm. work from home, summer fridays, much talk of long weekends and travel.

like

Legit. Everyone I know of actually checks out on their days off. Unless there’s something pressing, of course. + to clarify, we get 4 summer Fridays a year.

If my time at Burson (granted, back when it was B-M) is any indication, as long as the balance worked out in work’s favor, the work-life balance is fine.

But that’s not exclusive to BCW by any means

funny

I’ve heard pretty good things from people who work there. Also, know a handful of people interviewing at BCW for upcoming roles. Seems like they’re doing something right.

What kind of Masters program would you recommend for someone hoping to make it into a senior leadership/executive role in Comms/PR? I have over 6 yrs of experience in Comms in public/private sector. However, I haven't had any formal education in Comms/Journalism which I have felt always put me at a disadvantage. My question is, is there an advantage of doing a Masters to improve my chances of getting into a leadership role? If so, would an MBA be better than a Masters in PR/Comms?
