HR discussion was completed and got an confirmation email that I've cleared all rounds on Jan 10th. HR was mentioning that the hiring process is on hold. It's been a month already and HR is asking to wait for 1-2 weeks everytime. Will I get offer letter?

Hi ladies, has anyone here had any luck or have any advice about asking for a raise ~6 months after starting a job? For reference, I’m in an entry level position at a large agency and have friends/colleagues in my role that I know are making $10-15K more. Some negotiated higher from the start, others brought competing offers to the table and the agency asked them to stay, etc. Not sure that I want to go there but I just feel overworked and underpaid and wonder how I can best approach this convo.

Folks who work at tech companies - what’s the title at your org for the person who manages releases by creating an implementation plan and hosting a bridge to deploy all the code on the release date?

At my org, this would be the Release Manager, but I don’t work in Tech. I’ve only seen a few Release Manager positions posted by Tech companies so that’s why I’m wondering if it often falls under another position? Do TPMs ever do this work?

Had a recruiter reach out about a strategy role with “hyper-growth digital unit of the world’s largest agency”. Also cited $10B revenue - gotta be Accenture right? Weird that it was a HH that reached out and not an internal recruiter - is that typical?

At the time of my hire, pay ranges were not public so I had to negotiate blindly. My peers, hired after me, negotiated differently because they had access to pay information. Also, pay ranges are higher for in-office employees versus remote. I started as remote then relocated about 1.5 years into the role. HR said they didn’t have to tell me ranges and that I was always considered in-office so there was no adjustment to be made. Something about this feels off. Thoughts?

TLDR: Applying for job on the same team you were just rejected from.

Got a generic rejection email even though I thought I had some good interviews. Just saw a more fitting role pop up on that team that’s more in line with what I am looking for. Is it a lost cause or are there good ways to navigate this?

Just got promoted to manager. It’s done more to confirm that PA isn’t right for me long term.

The fact that I’ll eventually need to sell services at some point (I really don’t like selling) in addition to how awful office politics can get (I’m just now getting a taste now that I have access to more meetings) makes me want out ASAP.
