HSA for Working Parents now on the Same Insurance Policy. My husband and I have been on our own insurance plans and contributing to our HSAs, but with the birth of my daughter my husband dropped his insurance and is covered by my family plan. He is now getting charged fees by his HSA provider for not making contributions. They told him he can’t transfer the HSA to my plan because HSAs can’t transfer to another person. What do other couples do that are in this situation?

PSA: a calorie is NOT just a calorie. Specifically 1000 calories from gummy bears is not the same as 1000 calories from fresh fruit and veggies. Is my diagnosis something that I should bring up during a screening call or round 1 interview, especially if I might need to take FMLA?
