So the actual number isn’t reliable, but it doesn’t mean that there isn’t a pay gap. In any case, reading and discussing these studies isn’t going to solve the problem. Do your research and ask for the bigger bonus, the higher raise, the salary you know you deserve. Why wouldn’t you? Your male colleagues are probably already doing it, and even if they’re not, do it anyway and get ahead. No one is going to give you more unless you ask.
No. The company emphasised that it paid women and men performing the same roles equally and that the figure was particularly high because it included the earnings of those at the top end of the business – the partners, 80% of whom were men.
I can’t wait to see PwCs
I know I make less than my male counterpart, despite having a higher rating 2 years in a row
I am an experienced manager and have consistently received pay equal to or exceeding my male counterparts. I am not sure if this changes at the PPD level, but thus far I have felt pay has been fair and entirely based on performance
This is embarrassing. If anyone thinks there is equity in pay at the Partner level - you are crazy. There is always some excuse why - margin, clients, office size, etc.
Ey1. How do you know that for a fact? If that is true then you 100% should talk with someone about it. But - I cannot see it. Way too many people have their eyes on that.
