In the same boat but surely as managing partner you've experienced this before?
Best thing to do is drink lots of water during your drinking session.
Next best thing is to drink lots of water now and eat carby comfort food (for me, it's spicy noodles. For others it can be waffles, greasy foods, etc.). If you get the chance, take a quick 30 minute nap.
Drinking a lot of water definitely helps.

Wash a 5 hour energy shot down with a Sugar free Red Bull. My secret weapon during trial (although the court reporters always get nervous when they see me crack my 3rd Red Bull of the morning).

A few multi week periods per year. So not so bad.
Thanks all, tips were helpful. Had a nice roasted tea, went with gyro wraps for lunch (greasy, salty comfort food), and hot pot for dinner with tons of water in between. Wasn’t the sharpest, but also wasn’t committing malpractice. Not sure if carbs would have helped that much - I tend to feel bloated and more lethargic downing a lot of carbs, so simple and clean meat and veggies at the end ended up working wonders. Hope everyone has a chance to enjoy the weekend at some point!

Lots of carbs, something salty, plenty of caffeine, and maybe a sports drink. Take some vitamin B12. And some pain meds even if you don’t have a headache.
And plan to quit a bit early today.

Pickles, eggs, toast, cheese, Gatorade, coffee. Power nap if you can. More water.
If you can manage it, some kind of exercise.
