Since youre 30s. I'd recommend buying more crypto next time it tanks and you see negative articles about it in the Wall Street Journal. If you have 20% nw in lets say Ethereum, Id say 50-50 chances of losing it all or getting a 10x return. Losing 250k doesnt kill you, but getting 2.5M helps a lot. My 2 cents.

Ya I’d wait for it to tank to 80% below peak before getting back in. It will deflate considerably over the next year or two.

1% is pretty good for a speculative play
I was considering 1-5%
What coins are you in? I personally would but continue to keep it a small percentage of overall assets knowing it could drop or I could lose it at any time
Half eth half btc
Since you are doing well without too much of it, I would probably leave it at the current level.
How much money are you willing to
lose? That’s how much. Personally I’m bullish long term on crypto, but keep in mind this is a risky investment that goes down as quick as it goes up.
Congrats! Very impressive. Mind sharing some insights?
Hey we are DINK both moved from consulting into tech biz roles and had our incomes take off. Our RSUs have skyrocketed and rental properties have done well. Really lucky really.

Go for it. Start slowly adding to things like bitcoin and eth over time. My stack has grown to outpace my brokerage account.
I would slowly and steadily DCA into primarily ETH and BTC (including through an eventual crash). You can then DCA into other top 15 coins of your liking such as ADA, SOL, LINK, MATIC, etc, but make your allocation to BTC/ETH 70% of what you're going to invest.
I would aim to invest 3% to 5% of cost basis compared to your total investment portfolio over the period of a year or so. If there's a very hard crash on BTC, you can buy significantly more down the road as your getting to that 5% max.
