I used to live north of the cut so can't help you with neighborhoods. But wanted to say, make sure to account for hills in your husband's commuting plans!

😄 very envious! I miss Seattle - although I moved just before Amazon took over downtown, so have heard the atmosphere has changed somewhat. Pretty soon you'll know all the neighborhoods and stereotypes for each!

Hey there, honestly, I wouldn’t stay in sodo, and try not be there when it’s dark outside. The main attraction is Starbucks HQ, which is actually a really wonderful office with a Princii bakery open to the public. You might like Belltown, it’s a bit north, and you could find some stunning places there with a view of the space needle. I would also avoid Pioneer Square. It is absolutely beautiful with more of an old Seattle feel, but a lot of soup kitchens and homeless shelters reside there, so you’ll likely be bothered by the occasional homeless person. I will say you could live in Belltown and take the light rail down to sodo. It’s a super quick ride south, about 5-8 minutes. Capitol Hill is also a fun area to live, although I’d say to be mindful because that’s a hotspot for protesting, so there’s some commotion. So just look out for the right neighborhoods in cap hill. If you can afford it, Queen Anne is a beautiful place to live. Though a bit off the beaten path if you’re looking to walk or bike to downtown. Good luck!

Hi. I have a question. In a world where COVID is under control, how would you feel if your companies went back to being fully in the office? But maybe others were adopting a hybrid model- some days remote, some days in the office. Would it make you want to work elsewhere? How important is being able to work remote (at a location of your choice, not at client /travelling) a few days a week to your job satisfaction?
