I finally landed as devops tarine with 1yr bond.the ctc is 1.2 lakh per yr. its been few months. I have been tarined and have been doing small tasks. After internship company told i will b permanent and the salary will increase. I liked devops at beginning but now its hard.I am at crossroads. I like am thinking of pursing mba as i like please give your suggestions.

EY SC Tech Transformation. Told during HR screen that I'm looking for 135-145 but have space to negotiate. Given verbal offer and currently already getting background checked. HR calls me and says they can only do 110 with no sign on bonus? She even asked me if it's too low to continue. Is this even normal? NYC and 4 YOE. 2 in industry.

Hi Folks, I have offers from 3 companies for Senior Data Engineer role and need your suggestions which I should join. 1. Deloitte offering 130K plus benefits, 6% 401K match, 10K joining bonus, they are assigning me to PDM track with long term project. 2. SS&C is offering 145K plus benefits, 6% 401K match. 3. Hoverstate is a small company offering 140k plus benefits plus 5% bonus end of year. All positions are remote.

Is it a red flag if the recruiter refuses to give the salary expectations? She absolutely refuses to give a number other than it is “dependent on experience” and “competitive”. I even gave a range, and they want me to go through 4 rounds.
