Hi everyone…we currently hired a “marketing assistant” who has no degree or experience in marketing or design. I’m being asked to train them, their background is retail so they’re not even familiar with basic corporate programs (Microsoft & outlook). Is it wrong to be offended? 😂 I’ve being studying graphic design since HS, my degree is Visual communications/graphic design. Now I’m being asking to just “show them” how to use the creative suite for graphics!!

Why does understanding politics and government policies seem like a full time job? I don’t know what to believe, what’s real vs fake, or who and what to trust. I know I should care more but it’s too overwhelming to try and understand it all so I usually just step away.

I’m African. My white American therapist told me I haven’t found a great partner yet because I keep dating African men but that the culture is plagued with so much toxicity that doesn’t align with my personal values (her assumption, I hadn’t said anything about the culture of 54 countries). What is it called when you live in an area where you're only surrounded by healthy food options, and it sucks because you have to walk several blocks to find fast food? Is that a food desert? I feel deprived of convenient and accessible meals.
