I actually don’t know much about compensation increases that come with promotions. Any ideas on typical % increases?

How does value engineering compare to being a sales engineer? Have an opportunity to make the switch (still relatively early in my career) , but unclear how comp differs down the line.

Could anyone give realistic comp ranges for the different ranks in consulting (i.e. senior consultant, manager, senior manager, associate Partner, senior Partner)? Provide firm name or even tier.

Weird scenario - gave my 2 week notice at a previous firm in March 4 and left 18th. During that time bonus numbers came out and during my exit interview HR did state that “im not eligible for bonus”. Fast forward to today - bonus hit my account and checked my paystub on ADP which clearly stated “annual performance bonus”

Question - can previous company claw it back or am I free to use to it since it hit my account?

Now recruiters are calling with PM + 20/50% comp increase which is great. But I’m worried changing role could be premature and hinder my long term PM path.

I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. Big4 and Mid tier- All partners have a vesting period and if you leave before that 10 year mark , you dont get those retirement benefits correct? I noted some firms actively push out partners nearing that 10 year period. I have seen it happen. Is that a normal practice to shake out some dead weight so to speak before they reach that 10 year mark? Seems cut throat but is that part of the business now?

I’m a Talent Sourcer at my company and tend to take on lots of side projects. Currently, recruiting manager (team of 5) 100% remote for a RPO, 8+ years experience in staffing in multiple areas (MSP, HRG, Branch Manager - agency) with international experience. I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?
