I’m currently in the wealth management field and has been there for the last three years. I always wanted to try different industry like tech, automotive or renewable energy but I am bit scared to start from the scratch again. Something completely out of the blue has happened to me. I just onboarded with a company on Monday. I accepted the role three weeks ago after interviewing with and considering three other companies—- one of which was FAANG. I never heard back from FAANG and assumed I didn’t get it, until today. They called me and made me an offer. I really, really want to take the job, but I just started with my new company four days ago and on top of it negotiated a higher salary.
