Finished interviewing for an ATS role at Microsoft Wednesday. The interviewers said they were recommending me but I haven’t gotten any feedback from the recruiter. I’m at PwC S& and in consulting I always got at least a verbal yes day of or next day after interviewing. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Do you get a verbal first or do they wait to have a contract?
Does anyone still have a pension? How much?
Is TCS currently providing wfh option? I had given interview in TCS 3-4 months back and was selected also. But the HR wasn't sure if I will have wfh or wfo.And I wanted wfh only so I left the offer. Now again I received call from TCS and now they are saying it's upon choice if I want wfh or wfo.So confused whether to go for interview or not.Does anyone know if they are providing wfh or wfo by choice? I'm currently at Mumbai location and as per the call from TCS it's on me what to choose. please advise 🙏

Can you stretch it out until after your maternity leave? Doubt any new firm will give you paid maternity with <1year employment?
All of MBB will.

As long as the interviews are on video and show you from the neck up, you’re safe to apply anywhere you want.
True, check the policy, but you cant really ask. Why dont you stay until after your maternity? Its not that far off.
You’re free to switch jobs. I would inquire about the health insurance and when it kicks in for the new job
Are interviewers even allowed to ask you about it? I would never do that - what a dick move
Don’t hesitate, put yourself out there!
Extended maternity benefits generally require X number of years with the company. Wait it out and leave after you are back. I assure you, work will not be top of your mind when you get back.

Wait it out. Quit after maternity leave is over. You won't be the first big 4 employee who has a kid and then reevaluates if staying at big 4 makes sense.
Are you in the US? If yes, are you on someone else’s insurance plan? If you are US based and have your own plan I would not recommend switching employers until you’re past your global payment period with your OB. Moving carriers would also reset your deductible.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions - Looks like although there is no harm in trying for a new job but it may limit my maternity leave benefits with new firm. So stick out till my leave finishes here and then make a move.
