Never too late to learn. I grew up poor so never had a bike or roller skates etc. I finally got my own bike and learned this past year.

My dad just pushed me down a hill as a kid. I love biking. Highly recommend you learn.
I'm 23, about to start in consulting and graduate in mechanical engineering; and I don't know to drive a car or ride a bike - neither have a license.
You're better than me mate, haha
Sounds like most new yorkers, you will be fine

I never really learned either but I did spinning classes at the gym. Then one day (and I was in my 40s!) I rented a bike at the beach and did fine! I still am not comfortable riding a bike in traffic but more I'm perfectly fine riding a bike in places without car traffic.
You can do it!
😂😂😂😂😂
OP laugh with me about. It will make you happier

I’m 29 and can’t swim 🤣.

Will learn at some point.
I learned at 23 as well! Bought a relatively stable hybrid bike and biked along wide pedestrian and bike trails with easy flat terrain and low traffic. You can do it!
Tell one of your closest friends who has a bike and have them lend it to you/show you how to ride. You’ll learn how to not fall down in about twenty minutes, and that’ll be the end of your embarrassment
Get a bike with training wheels and learn then. Go to an empty parking lot or a back alley if you feel judged. Wear arm and knee pads.

No training wheels! No! They train you that it's ok to wobble way more than you actually can and slow the learning process down. Just practice on the bike, you don't even have to have your feel on the pedals. Do each step until you're comfortable: 1) go in a big circle. 2) go the opposite way in a big circle) 3) go in a figure 8 4) draw a squiggly line on the ground and follow it, feeling how your weight shifts back and forth 5) go ride!
Bikes want to stay upright for the most part, learning is more about building your personal comfort than anything else. You got this!
OP, we all start from somewhere. I’m doing my swim lessons right now and in my 30s. Only immature people would laugh at you for learning a new skill/hobby.
It only takes one day to learn and you’ll never forget how
Get some nice shiny training wheels

27 and I have no clue how to ride a bike and am also super embarrassed about it. You’re not alone.
Well you should learn it. It’s so great seriously! Find some instructor. I’m sure it’s doable 💪🏻
You know what I can’t swim:)

25 and can’t swim :)
Never too late to learn! Get a friend who knows how to bike and pick up a citibike (or buy one) and have them guide you. I learnt how to bike when I was 15 and how to swim in my early 20's. You can do it!
I learned at 23-24! commuting via cycle became more popular in my city so I was feeling left out and insecure. Got a friend to teach me using rentals ☺️
