Hey everyone. Currently working as an analyst at deloitte and looking to make a pivot into PM. Thankfully, an RPM role has NOW OPENED at Facebook (Meta) - and it would mean the world if someone could help me make this pivot. Please leave a comment if you can send me a referral! And thank you

For real tho you shouldn’t be embarrassed at all. Last winter I took skiing lessons and I was the oldest one there. The kids were literally cheering me on 😂 😂 but I will say, the positivity and encouragement from them was so motivating!!!! Just make a joke out of it while you’re learning to balance!!!
I can teach you how to ride... 😏😈

I would advise to learn both skills separately.

Real talk I didn’t learn how to ride a bike, drive, or swim until my late 20s. Family was too broke for all that.
But I could tell you how to read a NYC bus and subway map like a pro by the time I was 12.
Don’t be! You’re young, and have plenty of time to learn!

It’s never too late to start learning. Go for it!

I’m the same as you! We will conquer it this year!

Have you tried a few times? It’s mostly just trial and error until you figure it out

I’m 23 and only learned how to ride a bike in the last year! I tried so many times when I was a kid and gave up. My wife asked to teach me and it ended up being really easy! I would say if you want to learn give it a try! I love it now and will buy my own soon!

Former lifeguard and swim instructor here and we had plenty of adults sign up for individual and group beginner classes where I worked! It’s not a big deal - nothing to be embarrassed about.
Highly recommend learning to swim - water safety is key :)
I learned how to swim at age 30. I found a local lifeguard giving private swim classes via facebook. I think the 1:1 setting helped reduce the embarrassment, and I learned how to swim. Better late than never! Opt for intimate training settings so you can learn in a more comfortable environment.
I’m 34 and I never learned how to drive a car.
I can’t ride a bike either. Everyone always says the exact same thing when they find out “I’m going to teach you how” now I won’t learn how out of spite.
Don’t be embarrassed, I’ve found it’s very common in NYC and now I’m a parent I understand why - takes $ and work to do these things, especially teaching swimming. Just learn now. You’ll catch on quickly!
