I am 6 foot 5 inches and 275 pounds. I don’t look that big because my weight is well proportioned and I’m naturally a bigger guy. I think I could lose 20 to 40 pounds.

what’s the best way to do this? I don’t track my calories right now, but I eat less than 100 carbs a day and most of my calorie intake is fat and protein. I try and sleep as much as I can but I have two young kids, so that’s also a factor (maybe 6 hours a night). Without craving food, what’s a good calorie intake? cont..

Use a calculator online, weigh yourself, track your calories for a week, weigh yourself at the same time after a week, adjust from there by either eating less calories or burning more via cardio.

I’m also fairly athletic . I play basketball 3 to 4 days a week for an hour and a half and then I go to the gym and lift weights for 45 minutes to an hour 3 to 4 days a week.

My gut is telling me I need to fix my food intake as I’m quite active. I also drink about 3 to 4 cups of coffee a day.

Add a day of running to your routine

Start eating with smaller plates

Switch from beer to seltzer (if applicable)

Disciplined eating in the days post-workout, when you’re at your hungriest

I’m an L&E associate entering my 5th year at a mid-sized regional law firm (approx. 400 attorneys). Barred in PA/NJ. Billed 2100 last year but my requirement is 1950. Peloton users: Newbie here. I’ve only done about 10 rides. Most are 30 min rides. Yep things are recurring- (1) my hands feel like they fall asleep after too long holding on to the bars. I have to shake them out as the ride goes on. It could be because the seat is angled too forward so I’m supporting myself with the handle bars. Female 5'9 and 271lbs (that's a whooping 123kg for those of us who use metric system). The rain started beating me in 2016 when I took a desk job and started drinking more. On and off plantar fasciitis for a year. Any success stories?

Debating on the peloton tread or the nordictrack commercial 2950. Also open to other options if there's a decent model that isn't so expensive. My usual outdoor pace is 8-10 min miles depending on distance. I generally run between 3-13 miles each time, 3-4×/week. Can someone help recommend a food plan?

I (male) just turned 27 and have noticed my body changed over the past few years. I am 5’7, ~168 lbs. Athletic build. I stay active: gym 3-4 times per week, some basketball, ski, other social sports, peloton, golf. Admittedly, I haven’t been doing much cardio for the past 6 months because of jumpers knee.

I eat relatively healthy (6/10). Usually eggs or oatmeal in the morning, turkey wrap, salad with chicken for lunch, protein and salad dinners…
