Company T is paying me way more (twice) than Company B. And I like company T more. However, they want me to start working in February if I get this position. If I end up getting the offer, I will have to quit my internship at Company B, almost immediately after I begin the internship.

I’m in the final rounds of my interview process for a NYC Hedge fund, non tech role. The recruiter mentioned the compensation package is bonus heavy which can be multiples of base salary. Though they will guarantee a full bonus (sign on + year end) for my first year. 300k target

My current role/company is salary focused so I’m out of my element negotiating the bonuses.

CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I work in the timeshare industry for the last 10 years, but dying to get out. We book sales meetings with travelers and basically speak to every Type of person. I was always a top performer and now lead a top team. Its not easy and most fail. I made lots of money. I want to change careers and move to tech sales as a SDR or CSM but all my exp is in B2C instead of B2B. Can you guys give me any advice on how to break through?

How do you know it’s time to leave a job/pivot? (vs sticking it out). We’ve grown really quickly as a company so it’s definitely an adjustment.
