I am a 5y SM at B4 and exploring options between industry, tier2 or MBB. One thing I am not clear about is how the pensions work at MBB after u retire as a partner for 10-15 years with the firm. Is the pension structure similar to B4? Honestly, I have not found any other career that has a better pensions as compared to B4. Is MBB or tier 2 firms have comparable pensions? Thanks.

Can we expect 80% hike after 6 months in the current organization. I'm not actually planning to move out because of of hike, but because of the project which I got in which I'm not comfortable with. I'm interested to stay in the organization. But my supervisor said I have to stay in this project for atleast 5 years and HR asked to stay for atleast 2 years which I feel would loose my career.

I need someone's pov . I have 11.7 yoe and currently serving notice period with a offer for SM with 30 lpa. Today I got a call from E&Y for 34 fixed and was shortlisted for SAP ABAP manager . Based on whatever I know thanks to my friends in Deloitte and PWC , manager is only next level to senior con which is a role for 8+ yoe . Is hierarchy wise E&Y any different from rest of big4 . I heard manager salary normaly is from 20-28 fixed in big 4 . Anyone from E&Y or ex E&Y care to comment .

Why do pharma companies rely so much on consultants like Axtria and ZS ? What I feel is Pharma companies mostly hire them for data cleaning. I am currently an intern at a top Pharma company and I see in meetings that my manager tells these consultants the idea and view he wants in deck and they(consultants) basically do data cleaning and come up with pretty slides. I don’t see any “consulting” part here. Why can’t these Pharma companies make their in house team for these things ?
