This is the Business model of TCS.To assign more ppl to the project without need for more billing from Client.Learn new things and enjoy with your time.
That is absolutely correct. It is like a trap for an employee.
Stage 1- Employee initially gets frustrated because he have some technical skills and wants to enhance them.
Stage 2- after a few months the employee starts enjoying the low workload and start caring less about the skills.
Stage 3- Now after 1-2 years, employe has no longer relevant skills in the market and is trapped into it until they ask him to resign.

Same experience when I was in CTS, basically they need more billing from client.
Learn new things and switch your job, as they will not release you.
Switch job because you will not get real time exp here

In the same boat, gonna switch after an year, I am building my skill set.
