Hi, I am an engineer with a master degree . I worked for more than a decade as an engineer. I then switched to product marketing through mba. I was recently laid off from a series B startup . I have 3 years gap due to mba and children. I am 44 . I know I am way way behind in my career. I have an upcoming interview . The position is product manager ( 175k base + yearly bonus, no stock ) . I feel I will never catch up :( Any word of advice or positivity greatly appreciated.

Hi…I have an offer which includes a 6 month non-compete. I cannot remember ever having this in an offer letter before in the ad industry. Is this standard in pharma? Can I ask to have it removed? Or Is is standard to negotiate a compensatory severance package?

My manager is a woman, and she is always commenting on how I look in front of everyone - and it just gets so weird.
