I really want to further my education (male, 35, tech consulting, base comp 160 LCOL) and objectively assess the options. To be candid, my goal is more education, more money and a competitive edge in my field. What option do you believe is the best route and why? 1. Online MBA from a top 20 business school 2. Online Masters in Business Analytics / MBA with Business Analytics 3. Stick to Professional Education and/or Certifications Option 3 will cost less than half of the cost of b.schools.

Tips for bringing clients in biglaw? Im an EC/VC biglaw midlevel and am getting a lot of referrals from friends and old colleages - ive been asking partners to help me sign engagement letters and conflict checks but, as our group is slammed anyway, I feel bad asking a slammed partner if I can bring on another client (as my own clients are starting to consumme a lot of my bandwidth). Im curious if anyone has succesfully navigated this situation in biglaw (more below)

Football fans name their sons after their favourite football/soccer stars as a permanent tribute to the club they love. But why this changes when they are expecting a girl? Maybe they still haven’t realized the great female teams they have. Very happy to finally share this project to embrace the names of some of the best female footballers and continue supporting women’s football. On a client who lacks project planning in advance, causing almost everyday to be an exhausting late night scramble. Eg they don’t even have the Super bowl ad ready yet. Often work weekends too and I’m getting really tired of sacrificing my personal downtime time and time again to compensate for their lack of planning. And I’m only weeks into the job (was burned out in last job too) and I’m already exhausted from the relentless yet completely unnecessary pace. Any tips on how to navigate this?
What questions do you ask at the interview?

My current role has sucked the life out of me while trying survive Covid and the burnout has reached a new level. I’m actively applying but want to find a good fit I can grow with. Not a fan of company hopping.

Strongly prefer working in-person (I’m a people person) but potentially have a great too-good-to-turn-down opportunity that would be fully remote. Advice on how to make WFH better?
Is it just my perception or is USCIS totally jammed and ignoring any processing times, service requests,... I have hard time to believe that Covid is the reason.
How is PTO valued? (Salary / 365) x PTO days? Or, (Salary / 2080) x PTO hours. My question is whether or not to factor in weekends. Deloitte
How important is it to workout with a trainer if you have weak joints/cant do a high impact exercise. I did nothing for a yr - now my knees hurt, my butt burns while sitting, my ankles crack, the list goes on... I tried physical therapy but the 4 sessions I went to - I mean not worth the $100+ that I had to pay (post insurance). At this point, I'm wondering if it makes sense to get a personal trainer and to ease the transition back to a somewhat consistent workout schedule. Fully vaxxed btw...
