Sale of stills? So the art buyer went to a motion design place for illustrations? Then yes. You could charge usage for the stills or just build it into the “creative fee"

Motion design meaning, a post-production company whose core abilities are of design, and animation. We are not a graphic design studio producing still image campaigns.

Our bidding process is traditional—based on line-items and day/hourly talent rates, similar to a live action bid, etc.

My question is more: how does one price the commissioning, production ,and sale of stills? Is it based more on rights-usage rather than production labor? I’m assuming it’s similar to video and music licensing, but this is where I’m in the dark

Hi Mommas! Looking for some advice here on a few things. My LO turned 6 months old last week and we got the green light from the pediatrician to introduce solids. I am exclusively breastfeeding/pumping. I know this is selfish but I don’t want to stop breastfeeding/pumping. I love this special connection I have with my LO and I’m scared to give it up. I’m also very worried that if I decrease the number of times I nurse/pump per day that my supply will decrease. I’ve already had supply issues.

Hey Production friends- I’m involved in a pitch and the team has pitched about 4 very involved experiential/event ideas that includes fabrication etc. I’m tasked with costing some of these out but haven’t done anything like this in a while.
