Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

You’re already in PMA! Great!
I’d look into the Product Institute’s PMM cert.
I wouldn’t necessarily get another degree unless it’s paid for by employer. Most product people set themselves apart with successful launches or product itself. Keep up content for your LinkedIn about product related topics. You’ll become a great thought leader and have a pulse on the market for your given industry / product.
I think PMA cert is more affordable than the Pragmatic one and is pretty solid, but either way, you should see if your company will pay for it, many offer a yearly stipend for role-related courses.
Hey! I’m also in my mid/late twenties and always thought LegalZoom must be a great place to work.
I’m finishing my degree in applied analytics at Columbia Univeristy. It’s an easy program to get into but still carries that ivy league weight. Everyone in marketing now says theyre data driven people but a degree specific to analytics will back up your talk.
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about getting an analytics degree. Mines already paying dividends in how im perceived at my work.
No i agree the price tag definitely set me back. Part time its basically $45k a year for two years (three $15k payments per year). Im just not breaking into pure profits again after paying for it all so i get it. Columbias also pretty bad about scholarship. Does legalzoom pay for any school?
Know your customer better than anyone. Set a goal of speaking to 5 customers a week. Ask for opinions on issues that are top of mind at your company. Then share your findings “if talked to about 20 customers this month and their sentiment seems to be….” It’s amazing how many PMMs don’t have time to talk to customers.
This is great advice and something I REALLY want to do- tell our customers story and meet with them. We have thousands of amazing brands using us right now that would be great to showcase outside of regular “case studies”. Unfortunately I am a bit “stuck” in the training phase still, I’m a major worker bee for my department and far separated from overall strategy. So not much permission to reach out otherwise…
