Hey Fishes, I joined Deloitte India recently and am being referred to a project whose work timings don't suit me at all; rest all was fine. Is there a way to get the project changed, or can nothing be done now ? I won't be able to continue for long in the project due to its work timings, honestly :( Deloitte Deloitte India

Take a udemy course
Also I know that my company offers free Udemy trainings. Check your internal firm resources first to see if there are any free training providers.
Udemy is great, and they are currently running a big sale on their courses. I would also skip VLOOKUP and just go straight to index match
XLOOKUP
Find a buddy/mentor a year or two ahead of you and try to learn from them
It’s pretty easy to pick up, don’t worry. Agree with EY1 - Udemy is an excellent source, and there are also NUMEROUS excel power user forums and websites that you can browse. You can figure out how to do anything in Excel with 10 minutes and Google.
Totally agree, though I think google’s usefulness increases exponentially with a decently solid mastery of basic skills. Then you can do anything with it!
I made sure to get promoted to Manager quickly and could outsource excel tasks
Rising Star
That’s dangerous if you ever need to turn something around quick or make sure what you are submitting is accurate
In order:
1. Learn your Excel shortcuts (Alt+)
2. Master basic formulas: AVERAGEIFS, SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, VLOOKUP
3. Get good at displaying data really fast (line graphs, bar graphs)
4. Learn better formulas that are more appropriate for your specific work load: INDIRECT, OFFSET MATCH
Then suddenly, you’re a pro!
Google
Seriously this is how I learned. Every time I didn’t know how to do something, I’d google it. Then practice.
But I’m also happy to teach 1:1 for the right price
I read formulas in excel books made by other team members and wrote cheat sheets in one note like VLOOKUP(cell with dropdown list, whole data set, column number of data, 0) and that helped me

I got WallStreetPrep for freeeeeee from my undergrad and I really thought that was helpful (target toward IB probably but who cares)
Does your company use L&D software like softskills? I would search that for trainings
