I am a recent MSc Strategic Communications grad from the LSE. As a young professional seeking entry-level opportunities (1-2 years), I am facing challenges due to experience requirements. I'd love to work with NGOs and non-profits in the humanitarian and environmental sectors. Seeking advice, recommendations, and leads on roles that welcome and support the growth of young professionals. If you have any insights or suggestions, I would be immensely grateful for your guidance. Thank you!

Has anyone taken classes in valuations and received some kind of credential with just an EA? After a bit of a detour I’m getting my EA this year. Wondering if anyone has taken a similarly unconventional route in their careers.

IP LAW

Hi - I’m a lawyer based in the UK, and looking to improve my IP law knowledge. Has anyone done the PGDip in IP Law at Oxford? Or can anyone give any suggestions on some good courses / resources? My background is in transactional, but improving my IP law knowledge would really help with my role.

Also posted in the Law bowl but thought I’d also ask the pros!

I’m in Deloitte human capital and want to eventually (but sooner rather than later) move to industry doing internal talent/people stuff. My coach recommended getting SPHR or equivalent. Thoughts?

Switch to MBB from EY-P TS&E?

Positives are pretty obvious (prestige, project experience)

Negatives would be:
- 5% salary pay cut
- Forgo bonus, raise, and promotion to Director/Manager this year
- Delayed promotion

Due to inflation at its highest rate since 1982, I feel that I am not being paid enough. I can’t afford things on a day to day basis and I think I can make the same amount of money in gig jobs for cash downtown. During the Trump administration I was doing just fine financially - now it costs me so much just to get to work. Is it appropriate to have an inflation conversation with my bosses or should I just pick up shifts as a bartender at night - I need to make about 600 more a month to make it.
