Same boat. Remind yourself, it’s clean slate. Past trauma shouldn’t govern the present and future. Stay organized and view it as a marathon instead of a sprint (e.g., take time to learn new things and don’t overload your work). You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
Also same boat. My goal is to learn from what went wrong at my old firm and treat my new firm like a clean slate. My uncle gave me a speech about how it’s like baseball. Once you get up to bat you have to forget all the other times you struck out.
Same situation. Seeing a therapist and reading book called it takes what it takes. “The past is NOT prologue”

First of all It Takes What it Takes is a great book! Also in the same boat and nervous I’ll perform poorly at my new firm or they’ll think “I suck.” I also had a bad managing partner at my current firm but they apparently liked me enough to offer me more $ to stay. In any case, as others said, clean slate, head down, work hard and you’ll be great.
It's a clean slate - bring your best self to this job! You're in a hard spot, but you got out of a toxic situation and now you can thrive. Read the books, relax for minute, find a career coach, and nail this one!
Currently in the same boat. Yesterday a partner screamed at me “you don’t know shit!” 🙃
