My partner is an Occupational Therapist and she was laid off in March when NYC closed schools and therefore her clinic. After one interview, I tried to withdraw my candidacy due to the salary being lower than expected. Shortly after the hiring manager contacted me to inform me that they accidentally gave me the wrong salary range and invited me to come back for a second interview. Tips to stay motivated and cut procrastination? I started a new client side job remotely a few months ago at the beginning of covid. I know that I'm extremely lucky to have landed a role during shutdown, but lately my motivation has taken a hit. My entire team of two people is new, and it's definitely been odd to onboard remotely. Things are not as fast paced or as exciting as agency side, but I have also been dragging out tasks due to procrastination and just feeling lost. How can I do better?

Getting in-mail inquiries on LinkedIn for senior data analyst roles where I could be making 20k more than current role. I would look into one BUT I’m completing a masters degree(data science) in August and worried about being over qualified/more of a fit for a data science role once I complete the degree.

I signed my contract when I joined my company and I negotiated my salary, they did offer a bit more than the initial number but what made me sign it was they mentioned it was qualified for bonus as well. So being new in my career I said that’s great and went ahead and accepted the offer. Salary range for VPs in major cities (not NY). Currently at 175, interviewing to move in-house. How high can I ask for ?

I currently work in an HVAC role but really want to pivot into data analytics. The only real experience I have that I feel is relevant is project management. I do code in my spare time with Python and am working on my own data analysis projects. Does anyone have any advice? I also worry that with the switch I will be losing out on money. I make roughly 70k a year currently and would like to at least maintain that salary.

YOE vs title as a data analyst.
When doing research on job board websites, the actual “data analyst” title seems to be more entry level and “senior data analyst” seems to be more 3/4 + years of experience.

My question is: Are there any data analysts out there without the ‘senior’ in their title with more than 3 or 4 years of experience? / In your opinion, what separates those without the ‘senior’ in their title from others (YOE may not be all of it).
