I was up all night drafting a 9-10 page memo based on the latest version of the draft agreement the client had sent us. I was literally proofreading it when client sent me a new version of the agreement and I think I'll have so start over. Not sure how to feel. Yay hours / dead inside

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?

I went to HR today to finally complain about my bully. I didn't realize what he has been doing had been bullying, sexist shit: threatening me with performance appraisals (he's the same level as me but is the "pillar lead" of our group) and replacement. And why? Bcos I push back and tell him no when I don't have time for his random tasks. Ironically, I'm loved by everyone else and get stellar reviews from my project team but it's just him who gives me a hard time. Let's see what HR does now.
