When you say generated over 100K in revenue…as in you won the work/brought in new clients by direct referrals or you did work, and thats what the firm got paid? Look at Glassdoor and other salary sites for your region, my guess is only 50K-60K based on the size.

55-60k tops, with little room for negotiation. B4 in MCOL starts at 58k

What's your current compensation? It's helpful to know where you're starting from as well, but these estimates so far sound about right depending on your situation.

Currently I am paid hourly at $15/hour, without a degree. When I move to salary, I was told I would have a substantial pay raise to one meet the current market demands and two compensate for the work I am/will continue to be doing. I will be more or less be moving into the senior accountant role as the current senior accountant is moving to part time to start heading into retirement. Thank you for the all of the help.

Around 55k. Even bringing in that much revenue, its a smaller firm.

PSA - if you have an interview on zoom, please don’t look through your notes in the middle of the interview. I just interviewed someone who would pause for long periods of time to obviously look through his notes before answering questions. He was doing this on his computer and I could actually hear his mouse scrolling loudly as he flipped through notes. Needless to say, it was hard to build rapport and it made me question his ability to think on his feet.
