I am almost done with FNP and I am so sick of patients now. I've been in healthcare for almost 20 years and it is what I know, but the pandemic has burnt me out so much. What about corporate wellness jobs? Has anyone gone there? Or gotten a job for a federal agency (not the VA, I don't want to work with patients)? How does one "break into management" if you're over 40?

I know exactly how you feel. I am feeling the exact same way. Have been looking for new opportunities myself. Hopefully someone here can help

I would almost expect it to be easier to break into management given your level of experience. Surely your supervisor will understand the desire to do so and would hopefully be supportive? If not, maybe look for management certifications you can pursue and start job hunting.

Have you thought about teaching? Nursing Instructors are a rare find.

Any suggestions for successfully lateraling from a boutique/midsize to big law as a second or third year in entertainment (lit or transactional), particularly in LA?

I didn’t attend law school in LA (or T15) but otherwise have a transferable, well rounded resume with ample experience (IMO). Workload and Covid has nearly eliminated all networking events. Are these opportunities really limited to associates from the same handful of schools?

Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. So would it be smarter to make the move now as a first year staff since I’ll be considered Experienced Hire anyway?

What's the scope of MLOPS ? Is it good to continue on MLOPs profile? What's your thoughts/suggestions on this

What extra skills do you think your HR degree gives you that you wouldn't have without the degree?

Curious question, my experience is with Amazon, Google, and Salesforce. I’m currently trying to find a new role that better aligns with my career goals and growth I’d like to see. I have been interviewing and it seems I’m catching more attention to other bigger companies compared to smaller ones. Is it the way I speak that it seems the smaller companies think I’m “cocky”? I’d rather go to a smaller company but I have had no luck. I answer truthfully with every question but the recruiters don’t

Wondering if anyone knows of part-time gigs in this field. My current job is great, but I want to pay off debt faster, while maintaining some of my "data" skills.

I have written plenty of Stored Procs, ad-hoc, Functions, etc. in SQL Server. Administered SQL Server for a while as well, with permissions and roles and such. Was an ETL developer for a little while. Also did a lot of SSRS, some PowerBI, and a lot of just moving/transforming data, all over 5ish years. Any help is appreciated!
