Audit is audit no matter where you go. I came in as an experienced hire and can tell you that the most difficult thing is learning the new software. I wouldn't be that intimidated. I can give you a referral if you want.
Lol don’t be intimidated. You’ve made it to manager in public you can crush it anywhere big 4 or big 10. I’ve worked both places, don’t let the hype go to your head
I would start with mid size firm to gain better foundational knowledge then transfer to big4 for exposure to bigger clients. You get the best of both worlds.
Well looks like you have referral offers from all the B4, so choose wisely... haha

I’d say interview at both and make a decision based on that. DM if you want a referral to GT.
He’s trying to leave GT tho. 😂
Curious about this as well. I’m in a similar situation.
Same as what EY1 said. Came in as an exp hire as a senior. It was tough but you can make it work. DM if you want more details and referral!

^I did this and think it’s a great idea
Started at a mid tier, switched to B4 as a S3. Great experience so far.
Its the same. Likely easier at a Big 4
^I agree with this, the resources at Big 4
make your life easier.
Everything at my last mid tier was so manual and made more work for everyone.
I made the move from a mid tier to Big 4 recently. It’s a good experience so far and it’s great to have the name on your resume
I agree with EY1, audit is audit. The hours and work is mostly the same as my old mid tier firm (top 15).
I too can give a referral to Deloitte if you would like!
Wow, rsm is 10k for managers
